Film4Climate has selected 6 finalists for the Put-a-Price-on-Carbon-Pollution Award, a special award that celebrates the best videos exploring carbon pricing. These videos place a special focus on the issues around carbon pricing and the reasons why global leaders should support the growing momentum for countries to voluntarily embrace putting a price on carbon pollution as one of the means to cut emissions.
This award predominantly recognizes the relevance of the subject matter, together with technical excellence and creative innovation . The winners of this Special Award will be selected following detailed consultation with the Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition (CPLC), a World Bank Group led initiative.
The winners of both the PSA and Short film sections will be awarded a trip to Marrakesh, Morocco, to attend the Film4Climate Global Video Competition Award Ceremony on November 13th during the United Nations Climate Conference (COP22).
